Abstract :
UV–Vis spectra and ESI–MS studies indicated that an axial coordination supramolecule of cis-2′,5′-dipyridinylpyrrolidino[3′,4′:1,2][60]fullerene (Compound 1) with zinc tetraphenylporphyrin (ZnTPP) was formed. The association constant was determined by Stern–Volmer method (0.94×104) and Benesi–Hildebrand equation (1.2×104). The fluorescence emission of ZnTPP in cyclohexane is quenched by compound 1, which indicates that there has an energy transfer from ZnTPP to C60 moiety in the title coordination supramolecule.
