Abstract
We demonstrate unprecedented selectivity in transport of nuclear spin polarization over many interatomic distances in solid phase. The polarization exchange process is performed by sweeping rotational resonance of two spins, source and ancillary. Fast alteration of the rotor speed to a passage of different resonance (optionally, at different multiplicity of the rotation frequency) between ancillary and target spins accomplishes the transfer from the source spin to target. The method may find applications in protein backbone sequencing and quantum information processing.
