Abstract :
Data on the excimer fluorescence of aromatic hydrocarbons have been generalized and analyzed. The existence of a regularity in the values for the energy of the singlet and triplet excitations of corresponding molecules has been shown. An approach to the classification of various excimer types has been proposed.
