Abstract
We have studied theoretically the quantum conductance in a nanostructure with a set of antidots inside a quantum wire. The conductance is obtained using the Landauer–Büttiker formalism. Two basic configurations are considered: two antidots aligned in the longitudinal direction in the center of the quantum wire and four antidots symmetrically distributed in the wire. We find oscillation in the conductance due to the first and the second transverse subbands. The numerical results show that the position and strength of the conductance peaks can be controlled by the geometry parameters of the structures.
