Abstract
The adsorption modification of nanosized aluminum particles with aliphatic carboxylic surfactants and polymers (butadiene and nitrile synthetic rubbers with carboxyl end groups) in polar and non-polar solvents was studied. Adsorption data are compared with the data on aggregation and sedimentation stabilities of aluminum dispersions. The thermal desorption mass spectrometry was used to investigate the composition and properties of modifier layers. It was shown that the use of dispersed aluminum as a filler decreases the thermal stability of compositions based on butadiene and nitrile rubbers.
