Abstract
The aim of this work is the study and optimization of composition and preparation method of nano-emulsions O/W by addition of one of the components at constant temperature. Experimental design techniques have been used to carry out this study. A factorial design has been done in order to investigate the effect of formulation and preparation variables over emulsion properties. The conclusion of this study is that emulsion droplet size and polydispersity change with composition and preparation method. These variables have been optimized using a central composite design obtaining response surfaces that describe this preparation method of nano-emulsions.
