Abstract
We present a theoretical model study for the coexistence of superconductivity (SC) and spin density wave (SDW) for high-Tc cuprates in the underdoped region before the onset of the superconductivity in the system. The analytic expressions for the temperature dependence of the SC and SDW order parameters are derived and solved self-consistently. It is observed that in the interplay region both the gap parameters exhibit very strong dependence of their gap values. The effect of the external magnetic field on the occupation probabilities for both itinerant and delocalized electrons is studied.
