Abstract
Plasma polymerized polymer film from pyrrole was produced by radio frequency plasma polymerization and their dielectric properties were studied in the frequency range from 1 kHz to 1 MHz at various temperatures from 303 to 423 K. The large increase in the capacitance towards the low frequency region indicates the possibility of an interfacial polarization mechanism prevailing in that region. The value of dielectric constant and dielectric strength of this polymer gives a remarkable importance in the field of capacitors.
