The application of broad line MRI to the study of porous media

Experiments to visualise water diffusion into dry sandstone rock plugs at low saturation levels, hydrophobic polymer coating diffusion into mortar and methanol/acetone diffusion into PMMA using broad line gradient echo and stray field magnetic resonance imaging are described.
