Organisation de la radiothérapie pédiatrique en France

Depuis décembre 2008, des critères d’agrément ont été publiés par l’Institut national du cancer (Inca) et deviennent nécessaires pour obtenir l’agrément en radiothérapie pédiatrique. Ces critères doivent être évolutifs afin de s’adapter à la démographie et à la nécessaire formation des juniors. Parallèlement, un système bimensuel de conférences sur le Web permet la discussion de cas cliniques complexes, l’ambition étant de créer une véritable base de données nationale permettant un suivi sur le long terme. thors describe the recent organization of the pediatric radiation oncology in France. Since 2008, some criteria have been published by the National Cancer Institute and are mandatory to obtain a pediatric radiation therapy agreement. These criteria include clinical activity, on site involvement of the physician in the pediatric staff. Twice a month, a Web conferencing allows a clinical data discussion among the French pediatric RT community. A regular update of criteria is asked in order to adapt them to the new challenge.
