Abstract :
Achiral and chiral 1,2-diaza-1,3-butadienes derived from phosphine oxides and phosphonates are obtained from hydrazonoalkyl-phosphine oxides and -phosphonates. Michael addition (1,4-addition) of ammonia, aminoesters and aminoalcohols to these azo-alkenes gives functionalized α-amino-phosphine oxides and -phosphonates.
