Abstract :
Xanthocillin X dimethylether (1) has been stereoselectively synthesized from the propiolic acid 6 through an oxidative rearrangement of the stannyl vinyl amide 27 to give the vinyl isocyanate 30 and a homocoupling of the stannyl N-formylenamine 31.
