Synthesis of azide-functionalized PAMAM dendrons at the focal point and their application for synthesis of PAMAM-like dendrimers

For the first time, the divergent synthesis of azide-functionalized PAMAM dendrons using azidopropyl amine as an azide focal point and convergent synthesis of symmetric PAMAM-like dendrimers containing 1,2,3-triazole rings as connectors via click chemistry with a dialkyne core is described.
