Abstract :
We describe an efficient methodology for anchoring diverse carboxylic acids to hydroxymethylated resins using di-tert-butyl dicarbonate as coupling reagent. The reaction is equally effective for aromatic and aliphatic acids, and Fmoc-protected amino acids.
