Abstract :
A direct synthetic method to produce heteronuclear and heteroligand clamshell-type binuclear phthalocyanines via a nucleophilic coupling reaction between A3B-type monophthalocyanines is developed with the target compounds demonstrating the possibility to form sandwich-type heterocomplexes for the first time.
