  • Abstract
    A mild and efficient process has been developed for the synthesis of benzisoxazoles through the cycloaddition of benzynes and nitrile oxides. This method allows access to both (hetero)aromatic and alkenyl-substituted benzisoxazoles. Preliminary studies concerning regioselectivity are also reported.
