Efficient one-pot double Buchwald–Hartwig coupling reaction on 5-phenyl-4-phenylsulfonyl-2,3-dihydrofuran derivatives

We report a new and efficient method of conducting a one-pot double Buchwald–Hartwig coupling reaction on 2,3-dihydrofuran derivatives bearing two bromine atoms. This rapid and convenient synthesis allows us to access a great variety of original mixed dicoupled compounds. The strategy appears promising for combinatorial chemistry and pharmacomodulation studies.
