Abstract
An efficient preparation of a series of spiro dihydropyridines via one pot four-component reactions of mono/di/tri-ketones, malononitrile, primary amines, and acetylenic esters is reported. The reaction is atom-efficient, high yielding, and follows a simple experimental procedure.
