Abstract :
In conclusion, the aforementioned results suggest that LY inflow and pulmonary venous flow velocities during preload alteration in HC provide important information on the mechanism of congestive heart failure due to LV diastolic dysfunction and on the evaluation of the efficacy of preload reduction therapy for this disease; however, acute changes in pressure lead to immediate catecholamine changes and reflexes that are unrelated to responses to chronic therapy.
