Transaortic balloon valvuloplasty of the pulmonary valve

In summary, a transaortic to transductal approach was used to perforate and dilate the pulmonary valve to 8 mm using a catheter with a 3.5Fr shaft. Pulmonary and femoral arterial blood flows were not compromised. This technique is simple, safe, and effective.
