Abstract
Our experience suggests that flow disturbances in the LPA and descending aorta may occur after coil occlusion of the PDA; however, these are usually minor and resolve with time. Left pulmonary artery relative size may decrease following patent ductus arteriosus coil occlusion. Thus, serial followup echocardiography is recommended to assess long-term LPA growth.
