Abstract :
An efficient and straightforward method for the synthesis of benzochromenodiazocines and chromenopyridines via the catalyst-free, three-component condensation of 3-formylchromones, amines and isatoic anhydride or a dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylate is reported.
