Abstract :
Three novel sesquiterpenes, phellilins A–C (1–3), were isolated from the ethanol extract of the cultured mycelium of Phellinus linteus. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Some of the compounds showed weak inhibitory activity on superoxide anion generation and elastase release.
