Abstract :
A benzimidazole-based Co3+ complex was synthesized and evaluated as a sensor for I− and HSO 4 - in aqueous media. The complex showed electrochemical changes with I− over other anions, whereas it had a ratiometric response to HSO 4 - with UV–visible spectroscopy even in the presence of other anions.
