Synthesis of substituted pyrroles via Amberlyst-15 mediated MCR under ultrasound

A faster and efficient synthesis of polysubstituted pyrroles has been achieved via a four-component reaction from β-ketoesters, benzylamines, aromatic aldehydes, and nitromethane in the presence of Amberlyst-15 under ultrasound. A variety of pyrrole derivatives were synthesized by this simple and straightforward methodology in good yields.
