Randomized comparison of slow pathway modification within the posteroseptal versus the midseptal area in patients with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia

Randomized comparison of slow pathway modification within the posteroseptal versus the mid-septal area was performed in 62 patients with AVNRT. We demonstrated that there are differences with respect to the local atrial electrogram and the incidence of junctional ectopy during radiofrequency application, but there are similar effective and safe results during slow pathway modification in both areas.
