Abstract :
A straightforward approach to substituted dihydropyrazolo[4,3-c]azepines via I2-mediated intramolecular hydration in pyrazole-based allylamines prepared from Morita–Baylis–Hillman adducts of 4-iodopyrazolealdehyes is described.
