Abstract
We present a series of 405 consecutive patients aged ≥80 years who underwent isolated or combined valve surgery over a 5-year period. Our results demonstrate that valve surgery in the elderly can be performed with acceptable early mortality, good late survival, and excellent late functional outcome.
