Thereʹs (still) plenty of room at the bottom

For more than a century, scientists and engineers have focused their efforts on improvements to large-scale heat engines. This paper argues that global climate change and public health considerations suggest that significant effort should be directed to the improvement of biomass-burning cook stoves used by billions in the developing world.
