Abstract :
This work proposes the use of solid/liquid interfacial tension to study the stability of adsorbed lysozyme films on a solid surface using the contact angle of a liquid at the three phase contact line, in the presence of a denaturant, urea.
s suggest a direct correlation between this method with a standard technique like the fluorescence emission spectra and is measured with the same observable error as in the spectral methods. Further the technique provides a simple and direct handle to evaluate the homogeneity and degree of polarity of protein films on solid surfaces.
