Abstract :
The BaTiO3 nanoceramics were synthesized from nanopowders by means of low-temperature high pressure sintering. The structure and morphology of the BaTiO3 nanopowders and nanoceramics were investigated. Their magnetic properties were studied at the temperature range 1.72–300 K in magnetic fields up to 5 T. It was found that the BaTiO3 nanoceramic exhibits the paramagnetic behavior of the Curie–Weiss type in contrast to the nanopowder which is diamagnetic.
