Abstract
The ground state wave function of VO2+ ion doped in different single crystals is estimated with the help of admixture coefficients due to spin orbit coupling. The bonding parameters (K|| and K⊥) choosing the different parametric angle β are also determined. The interpretation of g factor using the Stevens method of molecular orbital for octahedral complex containing transition metal ion is given. The value of K⊥ should be less than 0.06. The hyperfine interaction parameter P and Fermi contact term K are also calculated.
