Charge transfer dynamics of carbon ions with uracil and halouracil targets at low collision energies

A theoretical treatment is derived at low-energies for the single charge transfer process in collision of C4+ ions with uracil and halouracil targets using ab-initio molecular methods. The radiosensitivity properties of halouracils and the anisotropy of the process are analyzed and compared to previous calculations at keV energies.
