Abstract :
An empirical rate equation k ( T ) = B [ 1 - exp ( E b / RT ) ] , where B and E b are parameters, is proposed to express the rate constants of association reactions. By combining it with the Arrhenius equation, the temperature dependence of the rate constants of oxygen atoms with several olefins from 20 to 500 K can be properly demonstrated.
