Abstract :
In this Letter we have investigated the aggregation kinetics of Brownian particles. The dynamics of each individual is being guided by an overdamped Langevin equation of motion with a non-local drift arising out of the imbalance in the local distribution of the other individuals. Our study reveals that large sized clusters are formed at stationary state for multiplicative noise driven process compared to the additive one. The cluster formation kinetics is different for these cases. For additive noise, decay of cluster number follows the power law. But in case of multiplicative noise, multi-exponentially decaying function fits well to the simulation result.
