Abstract :
Using a relative rate method, rate constants of cyclo-CFCFCF2CF2–, cyclo-CHCFCF2CF2–, and cyclo-CHCHCF2CF2– reaction with OH radicals were determined to be (3.15 ± 0.93) × 10−13 exp[(630 ± 90)/T], (4.60 ± 1.31) × 10−13 exp[(600 ± 80)/T], and (3.28 ± 0.57) × 10−13 exp[(190 ± 50)/T] between 253 and 328 K, and (3.79 ± 0.11) × 10−14, (6.15 ± 0.16) × 10−14, and (1.73 ± 0.03) × 10−13 cm3 molecule−1 s−1 at 298 K. The atmospheric lifetimes and GWPs for the 100 year time horizon were estimated to be 1.02, 0.63, and 0.19 years, and 119, 76, and 20.
