Abstract :
A novel polyoxomolybdate, [n-Bu4N]8[Mo6O19]2[α-(Mo8O26)] (1), has been synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 represents a rare example coexisting with two kinds of polyoxomolybdate anions in the same crystal architecture.
