Effect of Short-term In-service Training on Organizational Performance from the Viewpoints of Experts of Companies Affiliated with Jihad Agriculture of Khuzestan Province, Iran

The staff working in an organization will form an important part of it and it is considered as a huge asset of that system making a basis for developing the organization through empowerment and short-term in-service education. Accordingly, the main purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of short-term in-service education on the organizational function based on the viewpoints of the experts of companies dependent on Jihad Agriculture of Khuzastan Province. The research method in this study was a cross-sectional survey and in order to collect data, the researcher has utilized questionnaires. The population includes all staff working in companies affiliated with Jihad Agriculture of Khuzestan province having bachelors degree. The estimated sample was 156 by Cochran formula with the 5 percent error level and significance level of 95 percent. In order to determine the validity of the questionnaire, Construct validity was used by conducting factor analysis, and to test the reliability of each variable, the Chronbachs alpha was used. The results showed that short-term in-service education has a significant impact on each of the six-fold dimensions of organizational function (effectiveness of organizational goals, promotion of organizational behavior, acquisition of professional skills, staff performance and Identifying strengths and weaknesses, using opportunities and avoiding threats).
