Self-assembly of interpenetrated supramolecular networks by C–H⋯π interaction

Two three-dimensional interpenetrated supramolecular networks were constructed by C–H⋯π interaction. The two complexes have similar ligands and interpenetrating behaviors, and the C–H⋯π interaction plays an important role in self-assembling and stabilizing the crystalline architecture. The selectivity of noncovalent weak interactions in aggregating supramolecular architectures was investigated, and the possibility of self-assembling predictable supramolecular structures was also discussed.
