Abstract :
The purpose of the present study is to investigate the factors influencing the foundation of sport clubs by private sector in the townships of Boyer Ahmad and Dena in 2011-2012. The study is of descriptive survey and the statistic universe consisted of 70 private sport clubs in the Boyer Ahmad and Dena townships, in the province of Kohkiluye and Boyerahmad (Iran). The size of sample was selected the same as the statistic universe. To gather the data, the scholar-made questionnaire was used and the data from study was analyzed by the descriptive and inferential statistics as well as the software SPSS. The results showed that the founders of the sport clubs were men and women by 77.14% and 22.86%, respectively. Based on the educational degree, the managers of the clubs had diploma, associate degree, bachelors degree, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees by 25.72%, 38.57%, 30%, and 5.71%, respectively. The results showed that the means from the factors personal interest, cultural motive, promoting sport among the managers in order to found a sports club by the private sector was greater and higher than the average (3), and the ones from the social factor, economical factor and preventing the social harms and gaining profits were lower than the average (3). Also, the most of founded sports club were related to bodybuilding, followed by billiard, football, wushu, taekwondo, and Karate.
