Abstract :
The present study was carried out to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence with quality of life and mental health, in school administrators in Zahedan city. The research method in descriptive study was correlative type and statistical Society include of all administrators of high schools in Zahedan in total of 92 people in the academic year 1392. For data analysis, Pearson correlation and regression are used. To collect information was used from the King Emotional Intelligence Self-questionnaires, Goldberg General Health Questionnaire and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire. The findings suggest that have a significant and positive correlation between emotional intelligence and the quality of work life and its dimensions including physical health, mental health, environmental health, and social relationships. The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and mental health. The results indicate that there are significant and direct relationship between two variables of quality of life and mental health. In the study of Predictor variables priorities of emotional intelligence of managers, in first step, environmental health has the greatest prediction and in the second step, the mental health model also predicted. In the third step into the social relations model has been also entered to predict the quality of working life. These three variables together have been able to predict 23% of the variation of emotional intelligence.
