Abstract :
Measurements of the solubility of propylene in aqueous alkanolamine solutions have been made over a range of temperatures from 8 to 100 °C. Concentration of the amines ranged from 0.7 to16.5 mol/l. In all cases, the pressure was high enough to ensure that two phases were present. The amine solutions included monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), di-isopropanolamine (DIPA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), and Diglycolamine® (DGA®). The data have been correlated by a modified Setchenow equation.
