Abstract
Abstract—This paper presents a model predictive control
(MPC) algorithm applied to the temperature control of
building. Thermal model of building is obtained using system
identification method, that by this method almost all types of
buildings can be modeled. Simulation results show that using
the proposed algorithm, the energy consumption while
providing thermal comfort of residents has greatly decreased.
Applied algorithm compared with the common control
system of type PI.
