Design and Fabrication of 1XN Optical Power Splitter with Silica-on-Silicon based

This paper deals with design, fabrication technology and performance of 1x4, 1x8 optical power splitter. The wave guide structure of S bends and Y junctions have been used for the design of optical splitter using BPM wave 2D software. The fabrication components are compact and uniformity and presenting that direct UV exposing can become a competitive technology for fabrication of low cost integrated optical devices.
