Abstract :
The ELSA FEL at Bruyères-le-Châtel has reached an efficiency above 3% at 23 μm, a performance not previously reported with a uniform wiggler in this wavelength range. So far, the experimental results seem to be in good agreement with both theoretical and numerical predictions made by our group. We also report our first results in the 10–20 μm range with our new wiggler MONA.
