Abstract
Testing and calibration of the endcap calorimeter of the CMD-2 detector for the VEPP-2M collider is described. The endcap calorimeter consists of 680 BGO crystals with phototriode readout and works in a 1 T magnetic field. All crystals, phototriodes and preamplifiers were tested before installation. Electronic and cosmic rays calibration are regularly performed. As the calibration by cosmic rays reveals, the average energy equivalent of noise is about 1 MeV, in accordance with the design value. Long term stability of the calorimeter has been studied.
