Abstract
In this report, we outline the unconventional tuning of a combination of the Jetset and Ariadne programs for the simulation of the hadronic decay of the Z0 to data from the DELPHI detector at LEP. For this purpose we used the evolution strategy which models the basic mechanisms of natural evolution for optimization and the threshold accepting algorithm that resembles the better known simulated annealing.
