Abstract :
Imaging plate emits “prompt luminescence” when a radiation enters. The ratio of photo-stimulated luminescence intensity from latent image to prompt luminescence intensity depends on the type and energy of incident radiations. The ratio is smaller for the radiation with larger stopping power such as α-particle.
