Production of highly enriched isotopes at the electromagnetic plants with high dispersion

An electromagnetic isotope separator complex is operated at the Institute of Nuclear Fusion, Russian Research Center, “Kurchatov Institute”. The high dispersion (up to 40 mm per 1% relative difference in mass) and other parameters of these units allow the production of isotopes with very high enrichment. Several investigations related to achieving maximum enrichment of isotopes are reported, along with studies on maximizing both enrichment and production yields.
