Abstract :
This paper presents a statistical evaluation of a re-engineered data acquisition model for implementation. Data acquisition systems development is a dynamic field in industrial automation, especially in the search for low-cost and wide data coverage solutions. A re-engineered data acquisition model has been proposed and described by the authors, and can be implemented in diverse ways. This paper presents a statistical analysis of the model equation and performed a regressive calculation on a set of test signals for offset and gain determination. A simulation in SIMULINK showed that multi-parameter data can be acquired and stored in tables of records in a database for industrial process control and future operational behavioral predictions.
